Homeless Homies
We are currently working with the Homeless Homies Foundation here in Denver on their latest project.
Homeless Homies aims to meet the needs of the homeless through their local community here in Denver. They accept donations of clothes. funds, and other items and distribute them on a personal level in the area. They also make frequent trips to the Fort Collins area where they hang out with the large population of young homeless, playing, talking, and becoming mentors to them.
Their latest project will help unite those who have extra items with those locally who have a need for something specific. For instance, someone may have an extra bed, while someone in need is looking for one for their young kid. Their site will work like craigslist for free items, paring posted needs from local churchs and organizations with those of us who have extras laying around.
It’s a very unique concept and it’s been awesome helping them set up the site and find resolutions to challenges on how to make everything work together. We’ll be sure to update this post with a link to the new non-profit site as soon as it’s up and running!

The Lausanne Movement
From May 2010 – November of 2010 we helped The Lausanne Movement with conversation.lausanne.org.
The Lausanne Movement was started by Billy Graham to unite evangelicals in the pursuit of evangelizing the world. In October of 2010 they held the 3rd Lausanne Congress in Cape Town, South Africa with over 4,000 participants from nearly 200 countries represented.
Leading up to the Congress I loaded content on the site, helped with support requests from participants, tested the site, and helped launch the site in 8 languages. In October, I headed down to South Africa to work with the Congress on site. Along with all the things mentioned above I did whatever I could to lend a hand, even handing out shirts to volunteers on the first day. I made some great friends and met amazing people from all over the world yearning for the Lord. Towards the end I even got to play around with some expensive camera equipment and video tape some of the sessions with the video crew.

Calvary Chapel Basketball
In 2009 we worked with Calvary Chapel Boston to launch CalvaryChapelBasketball.com.
Calvary Chapel Basketball was launched as a Men’s Basketball League run by Calvary Chapel Boston to help raise money for the church. It’s run once a year around the late spring – early summer time frame in Rockland, MA. We built the website and loaded weekly statistics for the league during the season.

Cadogans Hope
In 2009 we helped launch cadoganshope.org.
Cadogans Hope is in support of the Cadogan family in Marshfield, MA. The family has dealt with hardship since the passing of Kathy Cadogans husband Mark who suffered from a debilitating disease called Neurofibromatosis(NF). The disease is genetic and her sons, Patrick and Ryan, were both diagnosed with the disease as well. Neurofibromatosis is a disease that produces tumors along the nervous system.
Shortly before the first Cadogans Hope 5K Roadrace in 2009, Ryan Cadogan went to be with Jesus. As a friend who knew him, talked to him, and goofed around with him I got to see first hand how amazing his 18 years here were. NF took away from him a lot of what we take for granted, including his hearing towards the end, but his light just got brighter and brighter until it was to bright to be contained here on earth.
They hold a 5k roadrace every year around mid-May to help raise money for the Cadogans and NF. Check out their website and if you are in the area come run for a good cause!

My Journey to Thailand
In late 2007 we helped launch a website for a friend, Elizabeth Ray, called MyJourneytoThailand.
Liz spent a year in Thailand as a missionary working with babies in an orphanage. It was amazing getting her messages and posting them to the site for all to read about the awesome work she was doing!
